@lamp1src You don't have to work on this yet.
Please read:
Hello GSoC aspirants!
Some of you are already asking a lot of questions about the best way to be selected on a GSoC project.
Here are my advices (ex- or future mentors, feel free to add more if I forgot anything):
The most important criteria is the quality of your proposal. It should demonstrate that you understand the problem to be solved and that you have a reasonable understanding about what Plone is.
We do not expect you to make any PR before you are actually working on your GSoC pro…
Dear GSOC students,
Many of you have become active in our community during the last three months. You have done this to learn more about the Plone Software stack and our development process, so that you can prepare your application for one of our GSOC 2023 Proposals.
Please be aware that becoming an active member of the community and participating in the current development activity is not a requirement and also will not influence or increase your chance to be selected for one of the proposals…
I cannot stress more the fact that we do NOT require that the candidates participate in the community nor contribute with any PR or any prior interaction before being selected. Please focus on your proposal and send it following the GSOC guidelines which are as important as the above ones.
Thanks,
