Volto Date Selector Usability Issues

The volto date widget (singledatepicker) has usability issues. It is not possible to quickly switch years without resorting to swiping multiple times. AFAIK there isn't a shortcut for switching years with keyboard.

In Plone Classic interface, you have separate year selector to select a target year.

I think it is import to provide year selector in volto data picker. What do you reckon?

Recently Adobe has released an accessible date and time picker, you may want to look at it:

After some research I found out that you could render custom months and years as a drop down list.
