This week, the Plone Foundation was awarded the Gold Seal of Transparency for 2026 by Candid, even further testament to our open governance, accountability, and trustworthiness as a nonprofit.
After additional criteria were met, Candid upgraded the Plone Foundation's Seal of Transparency from Silver to Gold for 2026.
What does this mean?
Plone is not only technically excellent, it is also ethically and structurally strong, which, in open source, matters just as much as the code.
