Using themefragments, custom views break when applied to ttw defined content types that are private.
When I use the view against a built in News Item it works as expected when in the private state.
@datakurre is this something you're aware of?
Have you already checked the error with verbose security?
I remember that I had similar issue, but it was obvious from verbose security error message.
