The Security Team is looking to recruit some new members

Here is a mutual request from the Security Team and Plone Foundation board:

Hello, Plone Community. Are you good at identifying bugs, triaging
reports, and solving issues? Do you care about Plone and security? The
Security Team is looking to recruit some new members! Let’s rejuvenate
the ranks and get some fresh eyes on the product.

Due to the recent rise in AI generated bug reports, the Security Team
has seen an increase in security reports. Many of these reports are
false positives, and the inbox needs some extra triage nowadays. Thanks
to the tireless work of the current team members, Plone already has an
outstanding security record, and we want to continue having rapid
response times.

Joining a Plone team is an opportunity to work with other Plonistas in
the community who appreciate your time and talent. The level of
oversight for Security Team members does require specific knowledge of
the Plone, Zope, Volto, or Aurora code bases and the ability to
recognize an issue’s priority level. You will work hand-in-hand with
others protecting Plone!

You can find more information on the Security Team page

If you feel that you meet this criteria and would like to join the team,
please reach out via email to security@plone.org. We look forward to
meeting you!
