All the demos that are linked from the Try Plone page do not run over https.
Given that security is one of the most promoted features of Plone, and that search engines have been dinging non-https sites for a while, I think it would be good to add https whenever possible to the demo sites.
True, that one redirects to https. The listing on the page needs to be updated, though.
You are right, i hope we will find time to enable SSL soon.

@zopyx For your information, login into https://plone-demo.info/ does not work (at least under FF and Chrome/MacOS)
