Salamina Sprint 2025 - Ferrara, Italy

A strategic sprint on Plone 7.

Join us in Ferrara, Italy from 8th to 12th September 2025 at the RedTurtle office.

All info are available on plone.org:

If you plan to attend, please fill in your info here, it will greatly help us organizing the sprint:

Here is a quick sketch I prepared with a map of the town with what in my opinion is the relevant info about lodging.

We don't have any particular deals with hotels/bnbs/places so feel free to browse any lodging of your preference.

  • The marker is the RedTurtle office where the sprint will happen (Via Nino Bixio 4, 44122 Ferrara, Italy).
  • The red circle is the 15-20 minutes walk mark (depending on walking speed), that means anything inside that area is about 20 minutes or less walking distance from the office.
  • The green circle marks the area where nightlife usually happens and where most places for dinner could be, even if there is no list for that yet.

More info about getting around are available in the Ferrara page of the website.

If you're planning to join the Salamina Sprint 2025 in Ferrara from September 8–12, it'd be super helpful if you could fill out the attendance form so the organizers can plan things like space and food. There's no official lodging, but anything within a 15–20 minute walk of the RedTurtle office (Via Nino Bixio 4) should be perfect. If you're curious about getting around or where to eat and hang out, check the Ferrara info page on plone .org for more tips.

Sorry for the very last minute decision, but the universe had to align for me to be able to come to Ferrara, and it turned out it did! :tada:

Now, yesterday I filled the form, but should I wait to get accommodation and flights until I get an answer that I have a seat for me at the sprint, or filling the form is enough?

Yay! Awesome news!

There is 100% a seat for you at the sprint, the office has a high capacity so there won't be any problem.
We just need the form to be filled in in order to arrange spaces and other things properly.
