My takeaways:

  1. Encourage businesses to donate to the Python Software Foundation if they use Python to make money.
  2. Apply early for 2026 grants from the PSF or you will be left out.
  3. If the Plone Foundation has not yet applied for a grant from the PSF, it's too late for 2025.

It is a shame that the major AI players don't support Python in a reasonable way in terms of substantial financial grants (e.g. one million USD per year per company for a period of five years).
