I came across the Social Media Sharing" project idea listed in Plone’s GSoC idea list, and I’m really interested in working on it. As a college student and a first-time GSoC applicant, I’m eager to contribute to Plone and learn from the community.
The project involves developing a Plone add-on that allows users to share content (articles, blogs, etc.) directly to social media platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook—similar to how content sharing works on other CMS platforms.
I’d love to connect with the community and get your thoughts:
Are there any existing implementations or similar efforts in Plone?
Any key challenges I should consider while implementing this?
Would anyone be interested in discussing or guiding me on this?
