Products.Doormat and collective.lineage integration

I'm trying to integrate the doormat footer into various lineage subsites (in the same Plone site). But only the "father" has the doormat, how can I get the subsites to have a footer?

I'm using productss.doormat 1.0, collective.lineage 2.1 and Plone 4.3

The Doormat is not acquired within the NavigationRoot per lineage subsite. You should add a new Doormat object in each subsite. Alternatively, you can override the viewlet code to enable re-use of the global doormat. The code is already there, just commented out:
