- Eric (Release): 5.1 is in pending status. We’ll get a final 5.0.x bugfix release out. 4.3.x will continue to see bugfix releases until 6.0 is released.
- Plone 5.1 is soft released. What is the target release date? Try for March 1. Earlier would be problematic, as we need docs and human-readable release notes still.
- Steve (Installers): there’s something in ZODB that requires Python 2.7.9+, which could potentially be a problem for Trusty Tahr Ubuntu. We should investigate, maybe it’s reversible, otherwise it should be documented.
- Kim: take a crack at human readable release notes, unless Maurits is available to help (must ping him).
- Sven (Docs):
- Sprint in the spring, Amsterdam?
- Deployment written in Go (would need help if Python is a requirement)
- Screenshots are now truly automated (thanks Gil!)
- Eric: check status of plone.org/download for 4.3.15 and 5.0.9. 4.3.15 link is fixed now.
- Kim: get Alexander a copy of plone.org ZODB for testing the addonlistings and security hotfix add-on
- Vincent (i18n): An i18n issue in reset password template has been fixed in Plone 5.1, new plone.app.locales release with updated Traditional Chinese, German, Spanish translations.
- Sven (Admin & Infrastructure):
- please rename linode linode299650 (Kim renamed to plone_io)
- Need to upgrade the Discourse forum server
- Working closely with Oz Tiram
- Short-handed, could use more people helping
- Alexander (Security): no news is good news
