Key discussion points and actions included:

Immediate Priorities:

  • The primary focus is on distributing the email newsletter this week.

Plone.org:

  • Sponsorship Team: New sponsorship levels have been approved and will be implemented in January 2026. The team is updating the website with this new info and beginning outreach.
  • Roadmap: The Plone Roadmap page is being updated. Work is also being done to improve the support cycle page (https://plone.org/download/release-schedule).
  • Provider Directory: Work is underway to update the provider content type (https://github.com/plone/plone.org/issues/212) and expand the list of Plone service providers.

Case Studies:

  • New case studies are in development (TU Dresden, Interaktiv, University of Jyväskylä).
  • A project has been initiated to create industry-specific landing pages for different niches (https://github.com/plone/plone.org/issues/209).

Events:

  • Plone Conference 2025 (Finland): The event is officially within budget. A post-conference sprint report is being drafted. :shooting_star:. The talks are being loaded on YouTube and there are more photos on flickr.
  • Plone Tune-Up: The next one is scheduled for November 21, 2025. Join at the two standups and there's another AskMeAnything :studio_microphone: planned for on the day, with Mikel Larreategi :clap: @erral . The link will be shared closer to the time.
  • World Plone Day 2026: Aiming for April 16, 2026, after confirmation with possible live events.
  • 2026 Sprints: The 2026 sprint schedule:

Other Community & Outreach Initiatives:

  • A news item will be published to introduce the new Plone Foundation Board.
  • Plone Podcasts are coming soon again, thank you @tkimnguyen
  • A "Plone Community Marketing Manager" GPT has been created (https://chatgpt.com/g/g-68f342e11c2c8191842f37c5312db1d1-plone-community-marketing-manager-gpt).
  • Plone plans to participate in the CMS Garden at FOSDEM in January 2026.
  • The Teemill merchandise store is being updated with new and vintage designs. Have a look at the vintage collection and send us the missing designs please.
