  • Libre Planet Conference
    • too late this time, maybe next year
  • GitHub 2FA
    • we all agree this is a good idea
    • admins especially should enable it
      • service accounts also, but should use tokens
      • zope foundation
      • IAM discussion
        • Plone Foundation account should have Zope Foundation admin rights
        • Paul will set this up
    • Admins for both Zope and Plone without 2FA have been notified
    • Our default policy should include 2FA for Collective, Plone, Zope

New Business

  • Branch renaming on GitHub
    • master -> main
    • better tooling exists
    • notify the community
    • [Executive Session]
    • we'll need a script for automating this
  • Plone Certification
    • Master class that would provide training for a certificate
    • certificates not certification
      • certificate of attendance
      • we'd need to keep attendance at trainings
      • maybe a plone.org profile setting
    • we will consider this for the next conference
      • Plone Conf team will take this under consideration
    • can be used as a marketing tool for conference attendance
    • chain-of-trust in trainers, trainings

      • Volto is default so documentation will reflect that
  • Marketing team should probably review the plone 6 demo site
  • Marketing team will meet this upcoming weekend for a micro-sprint
  • Python Web Conf is March 24
  • Balance Sheets - does our asset value increase with the transfer of Zope assets to the Plone Foundation?
    • likely no, Zope Foundation did not have IP rights so it wasn't on their balance sheet
