Plone Documentation repository to set default branch as `6-dev`

On Monday, February 21, we will set the default branch for the Plone Documentation GitHub repository to 6-dev.

  • Contributors will no longer have to select 6-dev as the base branch when opening a pull request. The increasing amount of activity on Plone 6 Documentation justifies the switch.
  • New issues and pull requests will use new templates and a chooser to help direct visitors to the appropriate resource. The chooser's options include creating a new issue, getting support on the Plone Community Forum, or chatting with the Documentation Team on Discord.

The default branch is now plone/documentation@6-dev.
