Plone 5.2.5 on Windows requirements

Hello,
In the "Requirements" for installing plone 5.2.5 on Windows, it is indicated first:

  • Install Python 3.8 from the Windows Store.
Is this indication mandatory, or we can use for example a version of Python 3.8.10 already installed and downloaded from the python site. In addition, the installed version is configured in the environment variables and recognized as a python installation by default.
Does anyone have any idea on this?

It works with other installation methods for Python - indeed, why not? It is just, the described method, using the Windows store, was tested once and worked fine. It is simple and does not need deeper explanations. That's the main reason it is recommended. If you're expert enough to cleanly install Python from python.org it is perfectly fine.
