I spend at least two hours updating an existing Plone project and banging my head on the keyboard why it couldn't find some packages. We had put a list of allowed domains in allow-hosts somewhere deep in an extended upon base config, but the new files.pythonhosted.org wasn't in there yet. And buildout does NOT tell you it blocks package downloads because of allow-hosts.
