I posted this as a bug already plone-pat-modal improper redirect on folder contents (classic UI) · Issue #3989 · plone/Products.CMFPlone · GitHub but if possible it would be nice to get some guidance so that I can work out a temporary solution on my end. The problem seems to be generalized as follows: if you open a modal while on the folder contents page and submit its form, the response is loaded within that modal instead of redirecting the whole page.
It's weird to me that the modal code is the same on both pages, anyone have an idea what could be going on with the folder contents page that would interfere here?
