I've decided to work with as much of the out-of-the-box tech that the community provides as possible. This means I will have to switch to GitHub from Gitlab (because Plone Starter ships with Github actions for CI.
I gain (without doing my own research and experimentation):
- Custom builds of my docker images (especially for Volto)
- Ansible deployment (need to double check if I need kubernetes)
Looking forward to moving faster less time consumed on the infrastructure and more time focused on delivering the project. I'm also interested in how easily I can move my existing code to the new stack.
