Move Plone site to different disk / mount point

I have a server with some Plone sites.
they are all in / home/somewhere/plone5 & /home/somewhere/plone4

Now, I added another disk and mounted it at /vol2

Now I want to move many of the sites to /vol2

Would copying the sites to the new disk, then running buildout and then deleting the old instance be OK ?

(and maybe hard link to 'find them all from one place' ?)

Rerunning buildout would usually fix the paths for filestorage and blobstorage. So yes...backup first, as usually or leave a copy of the old installation in place before the new one in the new location is running.
