• next.plone.org: let’s get to dunesday.

  • Technical things: get these in place. Action: Write a short overall summary of missing pieces. Add pull requests. Then ping people.
  • Then: soon: soft launch publicly available next.plone.org. Discussed ideas around easter eggs - xmas campaign, note about indexing.

• PloneConf 2026:

  • News item incl survey results (conf team), note to include Maurits’ blog and personal stories (Armin)
  • videos : loading! yay!

• PloneEdu - Rikupekka initiates planning of two online meetings during winter/spring

• STA: submitted! Next: NL.net - submission now.

• Move from Buzzsprout: update: going well. The Plone Podcast | Podcast on RSS.com

  • Brian moved to free account and communicated with Treasurer. Bill was split between pre-pay/post-pay. Charges went from $18 to $6 in October. Should be $0 in November. Can close account eventually, but no hurry.
  • 18 Distributors listed at The Plone Podcast | Podcast on RSS.com

• Current plone.org:

  • • Provider updating their page on plone.org. All be will be easier in next,plone.org.

• Plone Newsletter: sent. Next Dec.

• id.plone.org: do livestream session in Brazil. Astrid to arrange with Erico. Brian to mention shield io badges. Thurs 5 Nov @ 14h UTC.

• Penpot.app selfhosting: update:

• Plone Tagung: update: finalizing the date. Also focus on PloneEdu. Focus on inviting the developer society etc. Communication. Technical editors. Looking good!

• WPD2027: We have a date, April 15. Actions:

• Board meeting minutes discussion between Rikupekka and Brian and Eric B.
• Discord: changes coming to Discord Discovery. Discussed what this means - agreed in principle to allow. No posts before mid-Dec will be public. No private channels will be shared
  • Rikupekka to take this to the Board this week. Recommendation: ok to opt in. Increases Plone’s visibility, and it anyway basically open for anyone to see. (the closed channels stay closed).
