WPD 2026
- Armin and Astrid putting together a series of 7 articles as a social post and news article on plone.org - message within Plone community and to the outside world. Rikupekka pinned the call for submissions in community.plone.org again - message to Plone community. Astrid created an event in LinkedIn - action for all: find the LI event and sign up. LinkedIn Login, Sign in | LinkedIn
- Astrid and Tania followed up with @mpeeters for welcome and ending messages to use in Youtube, and in live event in Italy. Tania to create some draft text for Martin.
- Suggestion to investigate using icalendar for all the talks so people can subscribe but that might not work.
plone.org renewal
- t-shirts - thank you: Bucharest Sprint team came up with a really cool design for the in-person t-shirts handed out
. Astrid to settle invoice via Steve. Looking forward to what the next Sprints come up with. Beethoven and Buschenschank Sprints have been contacted. Pole Position (Kerpen), Axolote and Salamina still to be contacted. - Showcase Plone - excellent proposal from Guido. Rikupekka added the content to the they use plone page. Tania and Ruben to work on it further. Looking good.
- whole site update: update from Rikupekka. Some necessary yak shaving. Looking to record a group discussion - dry run next week.

- next Plone newsletter coming after WPD
- Tune-Up day 20 March feedback - combined with Bucharest Sprint, with lots of Discord video time. No AMA this time, but hopefully for WPD/April Tuneup (day after WPD)
New items
- Plone 6.2 upcoming release - co-ordinate with dev and release managers. A working doc is in place. Create page on plone.org, announce on socials.
- discussions around terminology and process for non-dev activities with main aim to be visible to the community for feedback before going live with new stuff
- cmsconf.com - should someone from Plone attend?Is there budget? CfP open until end of April. It is in Poland.
- feedback from the session last Friday with Jon Cherry. Recommendation: focus on the 5 core values of Plone: our community, fun, trust, security and openness. Contact marketing@plone.org if you want a link to the session video or synopsis. Integrate the ideas with WPD social media story series that Armin is working on.
- Notes for further discussion: Google Workspace for nonprofits. No recording capabilities. We can look at 3rd party transcription eg otter.ai, fireflies, rev, descript.
