Plone.org Revamp & Content Drive
Work continues on improving plone.org. Key updates include:
- Mike and Vitaliy are developing new content types for Case Studies and Provider listings. Community feedback is welcome on the related GitHub issue: plone.org/issues/212
- Discussions are ongoing for organizing content by industries and sub-niches: plone.org/issues/209
- There is a strong push for new case studies. Several partners are already preparing theirs. If you have a case study to share, please email marketing@plone.org
- A dedicated digital services team has been assembled to support the plone.org revamp, thank you @fredvd and co.

- October/Nov Newsletter: The Plone Newsletter for October/Nov is in progress and aims to be sent out by first week in November. Sign up here.
- 2026 Sprints: News items and event pages are being created for the 2026 Sprints, including the Stellenbosch sprint planned for 16 - 19 January, 2026.
- Photo Competition: A news post about the Conference photo competition will be published soon.
Marketing Initiatives
- Social Media: The 'X' (formerly Twitter) banner has been updated. The team noted good interaction from LinkedIn recently.
- Teemill Store: We plan to bring back t-shirts from previous conferences to the Teemill store. Organizers from past conferences will be contacted for logos.
- Membership: The team is discussing ideas for more frequent membership drives and adding benefits, such as possible discounts on Teemill.
- Google Calendar: Discussion around a public-facing Marketing Team Google Calendar for sharing key dates and events.
- Tuneup Day - Nov 21st: The next Tuneup day will focus on a drive for new case studies. And another AskMeAnything; guest TBA
