Key discussion points and actions included:

  • plone.org upgrade team: good meeting with Fred last week. Next step: get repository. Grid blocks need to be addressed. Access still needs to be given. Will there be time for some of this at Salamina Sprint? :folded_hands:
  • plone.org content team: 25 Aug 1hr session. Good work done on identifying verticals by @vipod . Customer avatar 30 min session next Tues 2 Sept.
  • plone.org providers page revamp: Contacting providers, checking database details. Need content type built. @fredvd assisting in getting the test site, and access. Fred moving it to the file system. @alizgirl to assist. @vipod to give wireframes.
  • Social media/community/discord posts and emails for the next two weeks: focussing on Salamina Sprint, CMS garden (2 Sept), PloneConf. Anything else? reply below and we’ll post about it.
  • Newsletter went out today. Next one Oct - build during PloneConf, send just after. Missed it? Sign up here
  • Conference: request to look at how many are signing up for the post-conference sprint. Ongoing call for papers (closes this Sunday), and encourage people to buy tickets. Don’t miss it! About to publish Pycon Finland schedule. New features coming for PloneConf site.

Items not discussed (ran out of time):

  • FSF40 on 4 Oct - @Sally mentioned she could attend. We need to sign up by mid Sept and send materials.
  • Revive Plone Shop
  • Next AMA planned for Plone Tuneup 19 Sept. Time and person to be revealed closer to the time.

I don’t know if it is the right place to post this: I have tried to contact sponsor@ serveral times, because our entry (cloud19 web solutions) in sponsoring and provider list is missing again. Could someone please answer? Thank you.

I know @vipod and @astridjuizi are watching this forum, and I expect they will contact you.

I’ll also check the financial side, and reply to you privately.

Together we’ll make sure that everything is mutually agreeable and resolved favorably.

It’s perfect timing! We’re updating providers page right now. Would you be opposed to 15 minutes chat? We’re adding a detailed profile page for each service provider so need a bit more information about Cloud19 too.
