I have just discovered https://pontoon.mozilla.org/
It is quite cool: we can directly enter translations for our module i18n strings from our own web site page (apparently we just need to add "pontoon-l10n-robots" as contributor on our GitHub repos, and it commits translations directly in ./locales).

Thats very cool. It would be even better if we can optionally store those translations inside the site for those times you just want to customise the wording in the same language for a single site alone. Anyone know if thats possible?
I started on collective.storedtranslations a few years ago. It could be a nice basis. I don't remember how well it works. It might be okay. An obvious missing feature is an export. It never grew beyond the toy project stage, I am not using it myself anyway.
