How to Contribute to the Volto Project?

Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to contribute to the Volto project, and if so, what steps should I take to make a meaningful contribution? Additionally, I would appreciate any guidance on best practices or guidelines that should be followed during the contribution process.

Currently, i need to make Volto more feature-rich so i am looking for GSOC as well as contribution to the source code.

Participiating in GSOC does not require any kind of upfront contribution (and it does not influence your GSOC application).
