How Can I Contact Rafael for the Volto Theme GSoC Project?

Hi everyone,

I’m new to Plone and excited to contribute through Google Summer of Code (GSoC). I’ve chosen the Volto Theme Project and would like to connect with the mentor, Rafael , to discuss how I can proceed and refine my proposal.

However, I couldn’t find his contact details in the project list. Could someone guide me on how to reach him? Does Plone have any preferred channels for mentor communication, such as email, Matrix, or Slack?

Also, I have a few unique Volto theme ideas that I’d love to discuss, including:

EduVolto – A theme for educational platforms with student dashboards and course catalogs.
MinimalVolt – A lightweight, fast-loading theme for organizations prioritizing performance.
DarkVolt – A dark-mode-first theme optimized for developer platforms.
EcomVolt – An e-commerce-friendly Volto theme with modern UI/UX.

Would it be better to focus on one theme or propose multiple themes in my GSoC project? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Looking forward to your help. Thank you!

Best,
Isha123-maker

Please do not contact individuals here. This is a group effort and if you overburden individuals they will not continue participating in gsoc. If you have questions, please post them here after doing some research on your own. Thank you!

Here On the project ideas page ,it is clearly written not to contact individuals.
Please first read the instructions carefully🙂

We have been inundated with behaviour that we collectively have found to be so far beyond the bounds of what is correct, proper, and respectful that we have had to scramble this year to try to rein it in by providing explicit instructions dealing with things we never imagined having to deal with on such a frequent basis.
