Gsoc introduction 2019

Hello Everyone. This is Vinay Sagar Sharma, currently doing my B.tech in Computer Science Engineering from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University, Katra, India. I am interested to participate in GSoC 2019. I am interested to work with Plone as I found it fascinating and the tech stack was just what I was looking for to work with. I hope it would be a happy journey and fun coding this summer with Plone if selected. My Tech Stack includes HTML,CSS,Javascript(both ES5 and ES6). I use React as a front-end framework and I have also worked on Redux. I am good with Python . I found Plone really fascinating and would love to be part of this community.
Looking for some guidance to kick off.
Thank you

Hi Vinay and welcome! We do have a lot of activity in our Volto (Plone React) project and Pastanaga UI. You can see them in these repos https://github.com/plone/volto and https://github.com/plone/pastanaga so you should try to get familiar with them, and with Plone itself. If you haven't already, please see Plone.org/gsoc for more hints (from 2018) on how to get started.

I think plone.importexport is another project that could use some love with some easyish enhancements uncluding client-site code. https://github.com/collective/plone.importexport/issues
