You have to use that or it won't update the version of plone.app.controlpanel to the latest version.

I've installed mr.developer.

Now when I add the [sources] with the URL to the latest version of the controlpanel app. it errors out.

Getting distribution for 'mr.developer'.
Got mr.developer 1.30.
While:
Installing.
Loading extensions.
Error: Missing option: buildout:parts

You don't have to install mr.developer. I am using bin/buildout -c develop.cfg and that runs mr.developer and everything for me.

I've installed it in my buildout out like directed from the site, and now
when I go to add the [extensions] section it errors out.

Are you able to access the themeing control panel now? Remember it will still be messy.

Yes I am now. You're right it's definitely a bit messy, BUT functional. That's all I can ask for!

Could someone direct me at a Plone 5 repo' and/or documentation so I could look at getting this install up and running locally?

(Complete Python/Plone newbie, but have lots of help at hand)

    is unreadable, its to greyish in the black toolbox

  1. @@plone_view/getIcon as been deprecated, you should use @@plone_layout/getIcon
    while(1) in console just clicking around.

in Firefox the searchbutton isnt vertical aligned the input box
