Has anyone here tried to dispute the ownership of a domain name registration at ICANN? The domain name plonegov.org was dropped this spring and has been picked up and misused/abused by the new registrant, whose info is private.
The "message us" form on the plonegov.org site doesn't work, and neither does the email address listed (plonegov.com is already owned by the Foundation, and pg@plonegov.org just bounces).
The Plone Foundation will have to pay $1500 plus to get our law firm involved... but if it's a simple matter of filling out an ICANN dispute form, maybe we don't need to spend that money.
If you have registered a domain name containing "Plone", please contact me or the board@plone.org so that we can try to avoid this happening again.
