Hello Plone Community,
My name is Hassan Ali, and I am excited to apply for Google Summer of Code 2025 with the Plone Foundation. I am particularly interested in the Volto Themes project and am currently preparing my proposal.
I plan to design and implement two distinct themes for Volto:
- Professional Theme: A clean, minimalist theme suitable for business websites, using neutral colors like white and gray, and a structured grid layout to reflect professionalism.
- Creative Theme: A vibrant, colorful theme designed for educational or community websites, featuring interactive elements such as hover effects and bright colors like red and yellow.
I will use React to develop these themes, ensuring they are responsive (suitable for both mobile and desktop) and customizable for Plone users. I have reviewed the Volto documentation and set up Volto locally to better understand its theming structure.
I would appreciate your feedback. Do you think these themes will be helpful to Plone users? Any suggestions to improve my proposal would be highly valued.
