We're happy to announce the fifth edition of the Cerrado Sprint, organized by Simples Consultoria and PloneGov-BR, taking place November 3–6, 2026, in Brasília, Brazil — and remotely on the Plone Discord.
This year's main focus is Aurora, the next Plone frontend, together with accessibility work for both Volto and Aurora. As always, you're welcome to bring your own topics of interest.
Who should attend? Frontend developers who want to get their hands on Aurora early (no prior Volto experience needed), Volto developers and integrators interested in the migration path, accessibility specialists, designers, and testers — and really anyone from the Plone community, from first-time contributors to core developers. Sprints are one of the best ways to start contributing, and there will be people around to help you get set up.
The sprint is hybrid: on-site seats in Brasília are limited, but anyone can join remotely through Discord. We'll organize group meals (optional, of course) and informal discussions throughout the day.
