Census: I have questions

My questions:

  • What's the purpose to ask for this data?
  • A search for searchstring "Census" on community.plone.org results in Plone board meeting notes. Where is the community.plone.org post to inform us developers/contributors/integrators/communication pros/documentation pros/caterers/sponsors/helpers/younameit?
  • I am developer/contributor. Why do I get a request today for the first time, while this task is running for weeks according Plone foundation board notes?

I've got reminders today via Discord today from Jens and Erico to provide data.
It's the first time I hear from "Census". I checked my inbox and spam folder, but no mail.

Katja,

The Census is for Plone Foundation members -- active and emeritus -- and an email was sent to the Plone Foundation Members List first on June 12th, then on July 31st.

One of its goals is to ensure we have up-to-date information about our members (including checking if the mailing list is still accurate)

By "Plone Foundation Members List" do you mean Current members — Plone: Enterprise Level CMS - Free and OpenSource - Community Driven - Secure ?
