## On Monday we tell the hotel how many we are
Every conference has one morning when it becomes real. For us it is Monday 7 September — the contractual deadline for our final headcount at Hotel Van der Valk. That number decides how much of everything there is: the catering, the coffee, the room setups, the party planning.
Tickets remain on sale after Monday — but there is a difference between being planned for and being fitted in. If you know you are coming, this is the week to say so.
When we wrote in August, we said the price would rise in the final stretch before we open. The final stretch is now. A full-week ticket is €368 (+ 21% Dutch VAT), and being in Monday's number is the cheapest way to be planned for.

## Coming for a training? Register for it now
The training days on Monday and Tuesday are included in the full-week ticket, and the training rooms are planned from the registration list. If you are coming for a training, register for it on the training page — it takes a minute, and it is how we make sure the room fits the group.

## The programme freezes on Friday
The full schedule is published, and on Friday 4 September it stops changing — what you see is the week you get. Two days of training, three days of talks, the Friday Business Track in parallel, and two days of community sprints at De Brandweerkantine. Thursday 24 September is the party at Muziekgieterij, 19:00–01:00, with Friday evening deliberately left open.

## Matthias Kirschner opens the Business Track
The Friday Business Track — Digital Autonomy & AI — opens with a keynote by Matthias Kirschner, President of the Free Software Foundation Europe. Seven senior practitioners then carry one argument through the day: what digital autonomy means in practice, for public administrations and the companies that serve them. One day, in English, without requiring prior Plone knowledge.
A Friday one-day ticket is €149 (+ 21% Dutch VAT) and includes the Business Track. If someone else owns your platform decisions, bring them.
