It's time for the Axolote Sprint! Join us for another exciting strategic Plone 7 sprint happening next week 23 -27 June in CDMX, Mexico. Hosted at the Mathematics Institute (Instituto de Matemáticas) in UNAM central campus, in CDMX, the sprinters will meet every day at 9am, and have everything they need: fast internet connection, snacks, drinks, a beautiful garden, and a coffee machine.

This was an awesome sprint last summer where we got a lot accomplished. Great company, amazing food, beautiful weather, gorgeous scenery and setting, and rich culture. I'm bummed I won't be able to join in person.

What an amazing first day at the Axolote sprint! Sure, it was a little rainy, but the energy in the room was absolutely electric as everyone tackled exciting challenges: working on plone.org, building a new educational campus event scheduling addon, and of course, pushing Plone 7 forward. There’s nothing quite like being surrounded by passionate people who love what they do and aren’t afraid to dive into hard problems while having a blast together.

We're halfway through the Axolote sprint and the energy is incredible right now! We had some fantastic deep dives into Plone 7 development, plus a really interesting presentation on how universities could leverage Plone for everything from public websites to internal systems. The editors training went really well and we've been meeting amazing people from different institutes here at the university.
Then for lunch our wonderful UNAM Plonistas took us to one of their favorite spots, a real CDMX treasure they generously decided to share. Great food, excellent technical discussions, and getting to connect with people who share the same passion.

Last week we made exciting strides in modernizing our infrastructure and transforming the developer experience! The attendees tackled ambitious challenges across the board, from a new editing experience to powerful educational tools. We're reimagining how our platform works, making it more intuitive and flexible than ever before. The momentum is building as multiple initiatives are coming together beautifully. We've advanced on various fronts including theming solutions, content editing, and the foundational architecture that will power the next generation of our system.
