I'm excited to share that I’ve officially released @plone-collective/volto-image-editor 1.0.0, a powerful and flexible image editing add-on for Plone and Volto!
Over the past months, I have been working with Volto and Plone at Simples Consultoria, and one of the needs we identified was a modern, configurable, and intuitive way to edit images directly inside the CMS. This add-on was built to solve exactly that — offering an integrated, developer-friendly, and editor-friendly experience.
What is volto-image-editor?
volto-image-editor is a comprehensive image editing solution built on React Advanced Image Cropper, fully integrated with Volto’s File widget. It enables content editors to manipulate images directly within the Plone interface — no external tools required.
