In case it should be of any interest to anyone
I just added a new Plone 5.2 site using the Universal installer.
Added a couple of add-ons that I have used before and Mosaic.
I have an url like this
http://something.somedomain.com
I added a folder 'something' to the site
If I go to /folder_contents (root level) and click on the 'something folder, this happens:
- Instead of opening the folder, the folder 'gets/shows the star', indicating that it is now the default view.
- The url changes to mysite.com/my_folder/folder_contents, but the UI still shows the 'root folder'.
Changing the id of the folder ( to 'something1' or 'something_folder') fixes the problem
