Hi, everyone, is plone being able to keep track of a single file, e.g., PDF file that has been saved, downloaded, been modified, and uploaded again and with many many cycles of downloaded → modified → uploaded again with the same file name? In other word, doing version control of a file.
Go to Control Panel -> DX Content Types -> File -> Behaviors and enable Versioning behavior

Dear zopyx, just to report to you that I can follow through to your guiding, to the versioning tick box. Will use it and see if it well serves my purpose. Thanks again for your kind help.
