Google Summer of Code ("GSoC") is an annual international program open to university students in which Google awards stipends to all students who successfully complete a free and open-source software project.
The Plone community is proud to announce three successful projects were completed for GSoC 2016.

ZhenSheng (Jensen) Jiang @JensenJiang worked on ftw.book, a Plone add-on that creates printable book PDFs using LaTeX processing. Jensen was mentored by Bernd Kulawik.

Prakhar Joshi @pjoshi_ worked on improvements to collective.easyform, a Plone add-on that lets users easily create web forms and is the successor to the venerated PloneFormGen add-on, whose original author, Steve McMahon @smcmahon, mentored Prakhar.

Vikas Parashar @vicodin created five new, beautiful Plone themes that follow current web design trends. He was mentored by Nejc Zupan.
The new themes are:
