Snippets: dynamically-updated rich text snippets for Plone

Continuing the discussion from How to make uwosh.snippets work?:

"Adds dynamically-updated rich text snippets to Plone. Update a snippet to display the change everywhere the snippet is used (pages, news items, events, anywhere rich text and TinyMCE appear)."

Cool to hear that this is in a good state -- I have two quick questions:

  1. Using this means I have to update zope.configuration pin to 3.8.0 to make z3c.unconfigure requirements happy (for z3c.unconfigure 1.1, which is pinned since 5.1b2); any known side-effects of that? Maybe this is a bug in pinning that needs to be resolved in coredev?

  2. Since this overrides plone.app.linkintegrity handlers with lookalikes/wrappers, are there any known side-effects for objects that are not using snippets but might need link integrity?
