Is there a reasonable slider implementation for Plone 5 that does not use Archetypes? (don't name collective.easyslider).

collective.easyslideshow uses Plone's Image type. I don't remember if we've tested it in 5.1, but it is Plone 5 compatible.
Nice approach but an average user will not understand how to collective.behavior.banner use. Great idea being modular but not focused on user needs and user skills.
Feel free to improve the UI and description (if that could help). But yes, it is probably much too complex for casual editors.
