A couple more tips.
- Read the documentation, especially for how to install Plone 6. https://6.docs.plone.org/
- Regarding Eric's comment about making a pull request to a Plone project, if you choose to proceed, and before you do anything, you must:
- Sign and return the Plone Contributor Agreement.
- Try out or install Plone.
- Become familiar with the project's contributing guidelines. All Plone repositories have either the default minimal contributing policy or override it with their own. For example, see Documentation and Volto.
- Do not ask to work on, or be assigned to, an open issue. Plone is a "do-acracy", which means if you want something done, just do it. However it's a good idea to make sure no one has already done the work. Check for linked pull requests and issues. Sometimes we forget to close open issues that have already been resolved, or work was started in another pull request and abandoned. You are welcome to ask for clarification of the scope of work, especially before starting work.

For support, ask your question in this forum. There are over 2000 users here, which is the single largest audience for support for Plone. If you ask for support in other channels, we will just direct you back here. When you ask for support, include sufficient information for other people to reproduce or diagnose your issue, but please do not post images of error messages.
