You don't need a finished abstract. A working description of what you'd show is enough for us to consider — if it's accepted, we'll help you shape it from there. First-time speakers are welcome; we'll help you find your feet on stage and off.

Should there be a confirmation email upon submission?
Excellent question.
Yes there should be. Your talk submission was one of the first to come in, it may have been that we had not implemented the confirmation yet at that point. So Andreas, your submission was well received, thanks.
