Plone vs Laravel

I am making a small (Flutter) app a startup, which basically just shows their website.

Because of this, they asked me if I could fix some things one their (not finished, messy) website. Their website is built using Laravel, which I have never heard of and I have never tested, so I was thinking about trying to get them to switch to Plone.

Does anyone know how Laravel compares to Plone. Benefits ?

Comparing apples and oranges... Laravel is a feature rich framework, not a CMS. So Laravel better compares to Pyramid, Flask or maybe Django (but also not good).
