Plone tile swallows <br />

I am making some tiles for mosaic.
If I use a RichText field, things seem to work OK, except for one thing: On rendering, all the

<br />

are 'swallowed'.

The
are (still) present when I edit the theme, and changing the theme (to barceloneta) does not seem to have any effect.

I render the fields with view/data/text/output

Any suggestions?

I did some testing and it looks like it works ok with view/data/text/raw.
... not sure if this is a feature or bug ??

PS: I also noticed that

disappear

Update: I dont think this is a mosaic bug, I just noticed that the same happens for the static text portlet
