WPD 2026
- video slots filling up well. There's still time to submit more for the 24 hours on April 16, 2026 - submission deadline has been extended to April 14, 2026. You're doing Plone things? now's your chance to get some free airtime to tell people. Sign up to give a talk on World Plone Day 2026 or just email the video recording directly to marketing@plone.org.
- Rikupekka is doing the heavy lifting for WPD again. Uploading videos, streaming meetings, helping with recordings. Brian to assist with scheduling social posts on the day.

plone.org renewal
- Tania working on draft page for plone.org/they-use-plone
- planning to record a discussion on the plone.org renewal next Tuesday, to be aired for WPD.
- AlexP worked on "invite contribution" with activity summary and help wanted info. Next step: looks like custom block needed on new plone.org for this data.
Other
- ploneconf update: website live soon, just need last PR merge and removal of basic auth. Buffer access given to conf team for ploneconf social media channels. already planning communication to go out as soon as site is live.
- https://www.sovereign.tech/ - Ruben has been investigating. Can't use for Plone Conf funding, but Plone is a wonderful candidate. Funds code creation. Taking this further, and Rikupekka to share with the Board.
- discussion around how and where to give better visibility to non-code movements in Plone eg Marketing work that needs wider input (no PLIP but alternate system)
- Plone EDU update: Brian sent email. Currently very quiet FB and X accounts.
- Calendar items for next two weeks identified.
- Buy a Ticket | Join CMS Conf 2026 in Gdynia - Rikupekka is keen to attend if time allows. In Poland.
New items
- Marketing team members encouraged to apply for Plone Foundation membership
- Suggestion to create space on plone.org for experimental stuff discussion - how about Plone Labs? Matt confirmed this would be a good idea. This could be the place for individuals to write articles authored by them eg Quiet Giant story (Armin).
- Another session with Jon Cherry? Skip April, schedule for May.
