I've noticed when doing a test upgrade of one of my sites (5.0 to 5.0.4) that the legacy bundle css and js aren't referenced in the template anymore. This seems to have happened between 5.0.2 and 5.0.3. Bit of a long shot but does this sound familiar to anyone? I'll spend some time debugging if not!
They should now be combined into one file.

I think that was an issue introduced and already fixed in upcoming Plone 5.0.5:
That looks like the one! I am not sure how I missed that issue on github... I'll revert back to 5.0.2 for the time being, thank you for the info.
