- Plone 6 and Volto (https://github.com/plone/Products.CMFPlone/issues/2703): do we have any news?
- Work will probably start after a Plone 6 alpha will be released
- Probably a new policy package (plone.volto) will be added to Plone
- Responsibilities should be decided (Timo is the de facto maintainer for the “volto” stack)
- Plone used to rely on “official maintainers” to oversee and release specific sections of the featureset. Have control over what gets merged and when.
- Timo and Victor are already covering this for restapi and Volto. How do we make this official? Is it a board decision or can the FWT announce this?
- Timo and Victor will decide exactly how they’d like to split the duties.
Next meeting
Next FWT meeting is in two weeks (2020-11-10).
