EEA.FN, ATVM & Plone default content types

Hello,

Can I use AT Vocabulary Manager with Plone default content types?

If yes: How?

If no: there is another vocabulary add-on for Plone default content types that works with EEA Faceted Navigation?

Thanks!

Manuel

Hello Manuel,
If you read the readme of

You can see that it takes advantage of Products.ATVocabularyManager.

So yes you can use it with eea faceted navigation

Hello David,

I'm using Products.ATVocabularyManager with several custom content types (developed by me) from several years.

My question is if I can use AT Vocabulary Manager with Plone default content types.

If yes: How?

If no: there is another vocabulary add-on for Plone default content types that works with EEA Faceted Navigation?

Thanks!

Manuel

What version of Plone?

Look at this thread: I want the ability to create vocabularies TTW

Vocab Manager will install and work on P5, by not with Dexterity content types. Not sure if this relates to what you are trying to do.

Hello rileydog,

Currently, I'm using Plone 4.

And I would like to use ATVM with Plone 4 default content types (if possible...).

Thanks,

Manuel

PD: I tested collective.taxonomy in Plone 4.3.9 with dexterity content types and eea.facetednavigation, without problem.

Hi Manuel,

You can use archetypes.schemaextender to modify the default content-types. Those modifications can include the use of ATVM vocabularies.
