We at inqbus are using datatables on some sites. So we have packaged it for the use with the new plone5 requireJS system. The inqbus.datatables Package features the following modules in their current release:
buttons-1.2.0
datatables-1.10.12
fixedheader-3.1.2
keytable-2.1.2
responsive-2.1.0
scroller-1.4.2
select-1.2.0
Out there is also collective.js.datatables 4.1.1 which is not compatible to plone5 requireJS.
So I call to the gods of Plone up there: What shall we do?
Shall we release inqbus.datatables
Is there an option to bring collective.js.datatables and inqbus.datatable together before they split.
Please just improve the existing package if you can. Duplicate packages just make things confusing for everyone. Thats what the collective is meant to solve.
@volkerjaenisch, did you end up releasing the code somewhere? I am hoping to upgrade collective.js.datatables for Plone 5.1, and would appreciate being able to build on the work you have already gotten done.
datatables is shipped with Plone 5.1.4 as a pattern (use class="listing pat-datatables").
