Hi everyone, I am working on a rather large Plone 4 project and trying to refresh my build using buildout I recently noticed a time-out on http://download.zope.org/. Is this a known issue? Is there a mirror? Kind regards, Markus

Zope.org distribution is down and now we can't run a buildout

Hi, Because the source http://download.zope.org/distribution/ is down at the moment our buildout is stuck and eventually returns a connection timeout exception. Is there any alternative, like a cached version? Or is anything known about this issue, and when it might be resolved? Thanks in advance.

Workaround:

Zope.org distribution is down and now we can't run a buildout

The workaround would be to: check in your buildout config to get the url to the Plone versions (http://dist.plone.org/release/4.1.6/versions.cfg in my case) copy the Plone versions.cfg to your own buildout remove the link to the url, point to this file instead update the Zope links in the downloaded file to the dist.plone.org versions. In my case above, the links are: http://dist.plone.org/versions/zopetoolkit-1-0-7-zopeapp-versions.cfg http://dist.plone.org/versions/zope-2-13-15-v…

Since you have access to the server, would it be the case to copy verbatim what is in download.zope.org (Here is an example Index of /) and put in dist.plone.org so a changing in /etc/hosts would be a new workaround as well to legacy buildouts?
